POD Pro Wrestling Launches This Saturday With Inaugural “Alpha” Event in Windber, Pennsylvania

A new professional wrestling organization is entering the Mid-Atlantic scene this weekend.

POD Pro Wrestling, presented by POD Productions L.L.C., will officially launch with its inaugural event, “Alpha,” on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Windber Community Building in Windber, Pennsylvania.

The Northern Virginia-based promotion is led by owner and promoter Paul McClemens, a familiar name behind the scenes of Mid-Atlantic professional wrestling.

Decades of Production Experience Enter the Ring

Although POD Pro Wrestling is a new organization, McClemens is not new to the wrestling business.

For years, he has provided audio, video and broadcast-production services for MCW Pro Wrestling and other promotions throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. His experience includes helping independent wrestling events translate from the live venue to professionally produced digital and broadcast presentations.

That background could immediately give POD Pro Wrestling a distinctive identity.

New promotions normally face a steep learning curve involving lighting, sound, camera placement, live-event presentation and post-production. McClemens enters the promotional side of the industry already understanding those elements and how they affect the experience of both the fans in attendance and viewers watching from home.

According to an earlier DMV Pro Wrestling report, the promotion’s foundation combines more than two decades of wrestling-production experience with a family history connected to the coal, lumber and steel industries of Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands.
