Man in a wrestling ring shouts into a mic, holding a gold championship belt; MCW Pro Wrestling and #Shamrock Cup 26 behind him.

MCW Pro Wrestling champion Miami Mike Walker has been forced to vacate the championship due to a serious medical issue.

According to the announcement, Walker is dealing with a blood clot that developed in his leg and traveled to his lungs. The condition will prevent him from continuing his championship reign while he focuses on receiving treatment and recovering.

Walker’s decision brings an unexpected end to his run as champion and immediately leaves the future of the MCW title uncertain. MCW Pro Wrestling has not yet announced how or when a new champion will be crowned.

While championship changes are normally settled inside the ring, Walker’s health must now take priority. Blood clots that travel to the lungs can become extremely serious, making it important for him to step away from competition and follow the guidance of his medical team.

There is currently no confirmed timetable for Walker’s return to professional wrestling.

Miami Mike Walker has become a familiar and respected part of the MCW roster, and his absence will undoubtedly be felt by both the promotion and its fans. The wrestling community is already beginning to send messages of support as he begins his recovery.

Indy Grapple News sends its best wishes to Miami Mike Walker and hopes to see him healthy and back inside the ring when the time is right.

More information regarding Walker’s condition and the future of the MCW Championship will be provided as it becomes available.
