Stephanie Vaquer Wins WWE Women’s World Championship in Chile

Stephanie Vaquer is back on top of WWE’s women’s division—and she reclaimed the gold in front of her home-country fans.
“La Primera” defeated Liv Morgan to capture the WWE Women’s World Championship during WWE’s live event in Santiago, Chile, on September 12. The surprise victory began Vaquer’s second reign and ended Morgan’s run after 147 days.
The championship change was especially unexpected because it happened at a non-televised live event rather than during Raw or a premium live event. Becky Lynch reportedly served as the special guest referee and played a major role in the controversial finish.
The emotional celebration with Vaquer and the Chilean crowd made the moment even more memorable.

What do you think about WWE changing a world championship at a non-televised live event?
