WWE NXT Live Makes Its First-Ever Visit to Salisbury, Maryland, on August 14

WWE is bringing the future of professional wrestling to Maryland’s Eastern Shore when NXT Live takes over the Wicomico Civic Center in Salisbury on Friday, August 14, 2026.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and marks the first time WWE NXT has presented a live event in Salisbury. Fans will have an opportunity to see several of the brand’s champions, established stars and fastest-rising prospects compete away from the weekly television setting.
Tickets, including fees, are listed between $29.25 and $88.75, making the show an accessible opportunity for local wrestling fans to experience WWE action in person.
Several NXT Champions Advertised for Salisbury
The announced lineup is led by NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, who currently sits at the top of an increasingly competitive men’s division.
NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice is also advertised, along with NXT North American Champion Myles Borne and NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria.

The final matches have not been announced, and all advertised talent remains subject to change.
With four champions promoted for the event, however, Salisbury could receive a card featuring multiple championship matches or previews of storylines heading toward NXT Heatwave.
Will Zilla Fatu Appear in Salisbury?
One of the biggest questions surrounding the event is whether newly arrived NXT Superstar Zilla Fatu could make a surprise appearance.
Fatu made his explosive WWE debut during the August 11 episode of NXT, interrupting the No. 1 contender’s match between Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana. The son of late WWE star Umaga attacked both competitors before confronting Tony D’Angelo and declaring himself “the new sheriff in town.”
Fatu is not currently included among the wrestlers advertised for Salisbury. His recent arrival and immediate involvement in the NXT Championship picture will nevertheless have fans watching closely for a possible unannounced appearance.
WWE has not confirmed that Fatu will participate, so fans should not purchase tickets specifically expecting to see him.
Limited NXT Q&A Experience Available
A special pre-show experience is also being offered to only 50 fans.
The NXT Q&A Add-on Experience includes a 15-minute ringside question-and-answer session with NXT Superstars. Participants will also receive an opportunity to take a ringside photo with the participating wrestlers after the session.
The experience requires a separate event ticket, and purchases are non-transferable.
Availability is limited and may sell out before the event.
For dedicated NXT fans, the add-on provides a more personal experience than a standard live-event ticket and a rare opportunity to interact directly with members of the roster.
Why NXT Live Events Offer a Different Experience
Unlike the weekly NXT television broadcast, live events are typically built around the audience inside the building.
Without commercial breaks and rigid television timing, wrestlers often have more freedom to interact with fans, experiment with their characters and create moments unique to that particular city.
These events can also provide an early look at developing wrestlers and possible future matchups before those ideas reach television. For families and fans who have never attended a WWE event, the smaller setting can offer closer views and a more intimate atmosphere than a major arena production.
Salisbury’s first NXT event arrives at an especially interesting time for the brand. Tony D’Angelo’s championship challengers are beginning to emerge, Zilla Fatu has immediately disrupted the title picture and NXT Heatwave is approaching later this month.
