Kurt Angle has shared a health update with fans, announcing that he cannot attend his upcoming appearances in the United Kingdom.

The WWE Hall of Famer addressed the situation in video messages shared by event organizers on September 24. National Wrestling League confirmed that Angle had not received medical clearance to travel. The nature of his health issue has not been publicly disclosed in those announcements.

Kurt Angle Apologizes to Fans

Angle had been scheduled to appear in Manchester on September 27, followed by Inside The Ropes events in London and Glasgow on September 28 and 29.

Speaking directly to fans, Angle explained:

“Due to health reasons, I will not be able to attend the Inside the Ropes shows in the UK this weekend.”

He apologized to those planning to attend and said the appearances would be rescheduled.

For fans looking forward to meeting him, the postponement is disappointing. But Angle’s health must come before a travel schedule or public appearance.

What Ticket Holders Need to Know

Inside The Ropes has announced replacement dates at the same venues:

  • London: February 1, 2027

  • Glasgow: February 2, 2027

Angle said existing tickets would remain valid for the rescheduled shows. National Wrestling League separately announced automatic refunds for purchased Angle VIP meet-and-greet packages, with additional information about general admission tickets to be communicated to customers.

Ticket holders should follow their respective organizers for further instructions.

Support Without Speculation

The announcements establish that Angle is unable to travel for these appearances. They do not establish a specific diagnosis or the severity of his condition.

It would be inappropriate to connect this update to previous injuries or suggest a medical emergency without further information. Likewise, the February bookings reflect plans for future appearances—not a confirmed recovery timetable.

For now, fans can offer encouragement while respecting how much Angle chooses to share.

Grapple News sends prayers and best wishes to Kurt Angle and his family. We hope he gets the care and rest he needs and feels better soon.

You’re welcome to leave a message of support for Kurt in the comments.
