Mara Sadé Appears to Reveal AEW Move on Official Website

Former WWE NXT star Jakara Jackson briefly listed AEW among the major promotions in her career before the reference was removed. Could a move also lead to an on-screen pairing with real-life boyfriend Kevin Knight?

Former WWE and TNA star Mara Sadé, best known to WWE fans as Jakara Jackson, may have revealed her next destination before All Elite Wrestling was ready to make it official.

Sadé’s newly launched official website briefly described her as having made her mark in WWE, TNA, “and now AEW (All Elite Wrestling).” The site’s “As Seen In” section also reportedly displayed AEW branding alongside the other companies connected to her career.

That wording immediately fueled reports that Sadé had joined AEW after months of speculation about her future. However, the AEW reference has since been removed. Her current biography names WWE and TNA but no longer mentions AEW.

As of publication, AEW has not formally announced Sadé as a signing, and the company has not released its customary “All Elite” graphic. The original website language is a strong indication that an AEW move may be coming, but until Sadé or AEW provides a direct statement, her contractual status should be treated as unconfirmed.

From Meta-Four to Mara Sadé

Sadé signed with WWE in 2021 and later debuted under the name Jakara Jackson. She became most recognizable as a member of Meta-Four alongside Lash Legend, Noam Dar and Oro Mensah.

Jackson and Legend developed into a regular tag team and challenged for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship during their run together. Sadé was released by WWE in May 2025 before reintroducing herself under her current ring name.

Her next major stop was TNA Wrestling, where she joined the Knockouts division and received an opportunity to establish Mara Sadé as more than a renamed version of her NXT character. TNA confirmed her departure in August 2026 after her contract expired.

Even after her deal ended, Sadé reportedly returned for TNA television tapings to complete her remaining storyline. Her final match for the company aired on the August 6 episode of Impact, where she lost to Heather by Elegance in the Knockouts Television Championship tournament.

Reports at the time indicated that WWE had some interest in bringing her back, while people within TNA believed AEW was her likely destination. The brief addition of AEW to her own website is the clearest public sign yet that those expectations may have been accurate.

Could Mara Sadé Team With Kevin Knight?

An AEW move would also place Sadé in the same company as her real-life boyfriend, Kevin Knight.

Sadé publicly confirmed their relationship earlier this year and revealed that the two first met after locking eyes at WrestleMania several years ago. Knight has since become one of AEW’s most heavily featured rising stars.

Knight held the TNT Championship for 140 days before losing it to Darby Allin at All In: London on August 30. He is currently aligned with the Don Callis Family after turning against former JetSpeed partner “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

That creates an easy storyline opening if AEW wants to pair the couple on television. Sadé could accompany Knight as part of his current heel presentation, join the Don Callis Family’s growing lineup or team with him in occasional mixed-tag matches. Their athleticism, confidence and strong visual presentation could give AEW a ready-made on-screen duo.

There is also a case for keeping them separate at first. Sadé deserves the opportunity to establish herself in AEW’s women’s division without being introduced only as Kevin Knight’s girlfriend. AEW could build her as an independent singles competitor before allowing their real-life relationship to become part of a storyline later.

For now, there has been no report confirming that AEW plans to use Sadé and Knight together on screen. The possibility is natural, but it remains fantasy booking until either performer or the company suggests otherwise.

A New Addition to AEW’s Women’s Division?

Sadé would bring national television experience, an established character and a polished presentation to AEW. Her WWE background made her familiar to NXT viewers, while her TNA run gave her a chance to continue developing as a singles wrestler outside the Meta-Four structure.

The biggest question is how AEW would use her. She could immediately enter the women’s tag-team scene, begin in Ring of Honor to build momentum or step into a singles program on Dynamite or Collision.

The website update may have arrived earlier than intended, but it has placed even more attention on Sadé’s next move. If the AEW reference was accurate, the Go-Getter’s arrival may now be a matter of when—not if.
